On the day of the symposium I started my performance at 9am and then performed my taste on activism for the rest of the day on a live stream video that will be projected on the hall in block 12 corridoor.

While I performed on stage I started hacking at my old linens that I sourced and cut and ripped through them. A voice over was projected through speakers that told my project.

For the rest of the day I sat and created a rag rug from second hand materials and linens from my childhood, teenage years and adult life.

There was a live stream projected. Not only will this intervene with university space, I am portraying my activist self, live on my facebook, streaming to hundreads of people encouraging a societal shift and forcing people to re consider how we can consume positively consciously.

The reason I am doing this is too enhance the idea on labour, craftsmanship. It will educate people on the hands that have gone into making their interior fashion, it will also encourage people to start making their own works of art and to forget about buying brand new.
